Mission
The Currency Management Division has the following missions:
- Conduct activities related to issuing, receiving, and authenticating coins, and overseeing the storage and management of coins to ensure sufficient circulation in the economic system.
- Administer and manage the disbursement, receipt, and remittance of treasury reserves for regional expenditures, and the issuance and certification of treasury reserve disbursements.
- Conduct activities related to inspecting the receipt, disbursement, movements, and accounting of treasury reserves at the Bank of Thailand and coins at the Currency Management Office. It also involves inspecting and tracking the submission of replacement checks for problematic benefit payments.
- Conduct activities related to depositing and withdrawing dual keys for money vaults and money safes of various Provincial Treasury Offices and central government agencies.
- Collaborate with or support the operations of other relevant or assigned agencies.
