Learning Center for the Evolution of Coin and Royal Decoration Production
On the occasion of its 150th anniversary in 2010, the Mint Division, Treasury Department, Ministry of Finance, established the Learning Center for the Evolution of Coin and Royal Decoration Production to disseminate knowledge about the history of Thai coins, the evolution of production, and showcase its work, activities, and competitive capabilities in coin and royal decoration production to the public and internationally. The soft opening ceremony was held on Saturday, January 9, 2013, chaired by the Director-General of the Treasury Department. The grand opening ceremony was held on Monday, May 27, 2013. The Learning Center for the Evolution of Coin and Royal Decoration Production is open to individual and group visits free of charge, from Monday to Saturday, between 9:30 AM and 3:00 PM, except on official public holidays.
For group visits, please call to inquire about the visit schedule at least 3 weeks in advance to book a date and time using the telephone number below. Afterward, submit a letter requesting permission to visit to the Director of the Mint Division.
